Free remains useful
A subscription is optional. Plus adds more capacity and features.
These terms explain what you can expect from Nesli, what we ask of you, and how Free, Plus, trials, cancellation and account deletion work.

These terms apply to the website, iPhone and Android apps, widgets, invitation links, Nesli Free and Nesli Plus. By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice.
If you are under 16, use Nesli only with a parent or legal guardian's permission and guidance where required by law. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
The language versions describe the same agreement. The Dutch version governs differences in interpretation, except where mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise.
Nesli is a household coordination service for shared grocery lists, tasks, appointments, notes, history, pokes, widgets and related functions. Features may vary by platform, device, operating system, region and subscription tier.
The app is a convenience tool, not a professional calendar, emergency, medical or safety service. Use an appropriate backup for critical appointments and emergencies. Widgets and push notifications may be delayed by device settings, networks or operating systems.
Core features require a suitable device, supported software, internet access and an account. You are responsible for your own device and connectivity costs.
Provide accurate account information, protect access to your Apple, Google or email account and device, and report suspected misuse promptly. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for account activity until misuse is reported.
In version 1, a user can join one household. The owner can invite or remove members, delete the household and transfer ownership. Members may view and edit shared content according to their role and subscription tier.
Invitation links are intended for the chosen recipient. Share them only with people you want to admit. A link may expire, be revoked or become invalid after use.
You retain rights to content you add. You grant Nesli only the non-exclusive, worldwide and temporary licence needed to store, technically process, synchronise, secure and display it in the app, widgets and notifications, and share it with your selected household. This licence ends when content and backups are deleted under the Privacy Notice.
You confirm that you may submit the content and that it does not violate another person's rights. Do not add unlawful, threatening, discriminatory or harmful material, malware, secret access codes, special-category data or information Nesli is not designed to hold.
Household content is jointly visible and editable. A member's change or deletion may affect everyone. Keep your own copy of important information when appropriate.
Nesli Free includes the functions and limits shown in the app at the time of use. Plus may include more lists and household members, expanded recent items, sorting, templates, a shared note, history and additional widget styles. The current in-app comparison controls.
A new household may receive a 14-day Plus trial. Before a paid trial or offer begins, the app displays its length, the full price afterwards, billing period, auto-renewal and cancellation method. A store-linked trial converts to the selected paid subscription unless cancelled in time.
Only one active Plus entitlement is needed per household. Only the owner may normally purchase or manage it.
Target Dutch prices are €4.99 per month or €29.99 per year, including applicable VAT. The price, currency, tax, trial terms and billing period displayed by Apple App Store or Google Play immediately before purchase control that transaction and may differ by country.
Subscriptions are paid through and automatically renewed by your Apple or Google account for the same period unless cancelled within the deadline shown by the store before renewal. Apple or Google charges your payment method and handles billing. Nesli does not receive full card details.
After failed payment, the store may apply grace, recovery or account-hold periods and Plus may be limited. Purchases may be restored through the app. Price changes are communicated in advance as required by law and store policy, do not apply retroactively, and require consent where applicable.
Manage and cancel an Apple subscription through Apple Subscriptions and a Google subscription through Google Play Subscriptions. Plus normally remains available until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or Nesli account does not cancel a subscription.
EEA consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal period for distance contracts. Immediate digital service performance may affect that right when expressly requested and acknowledged. Because Apple or Google handles purchases, submit withdrawal and refund requests to the relevant store. Mandatory rights are not limited.
Refunds follow applicable consumer law and store policy. Apple requests can be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com; Google requests use Google Play support or order history. Contact Nesli if the service does not conform to the agreement.
You may use Nesli personally within your household. You must not:
Where we reasonably suspect abuse, we may take proportionate security measures such as restriction or suspension. Where lawful and practical, we give notice or an opportunity to object.
The app, website, software, design, name, logos, illustrations and non-user content belong to Nesli or its licensors and are legally protected.
While you comply with these terms, you receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control for its intended purpose. You do not buy the software. Apple, Google and platform rules continue to apply.
Nesli may use non-confidential feedback without payment to improve the service, while handling personal data under the Privacy Notice.
Nesli uses reasonable efforts to provide a secure, usable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, store decisions, networks and changes by Apple, Google or Supabase may affect availability.
We may adjust features to improve or secure the service, comply with law or maintain technical viability. Install necessary conformity or security updates within a reasonable period. We give advance notice of materially adverse changes and any legally required termination right.
If Nesli permanently closes, we will inform paying users as early as reasonably possible and handle subscriptions and statutory claims through the relevant store and applicable law.
Nesli must conform to the agreement and laws governing digital services. Nothing excludes liability or rights where exclusion is unlawful, including liability for intent or deliberate recklessness and mandatory consumer rights.
Where legally permitted, Nesli is not liable for loss caused solely by unlawful or deleted household content, use for an unintended critical purpose, circumstances beyond Nesli's reasonable control after appropriate safeguards, or failure to install a clearly notified necessary update.
For business users only, and where lawful, Nesli's aggregate liability is limited to fees that user paid for Nesli during the 12 months preceding the event. This limit never reduces a consumer's statutory rights.
You may stop using Free and delete your account at any time through the app or the route in the Privacy Notice. You must separately cancel Plus with Apple or Google.
A household owner with other members may need to transfer ownership or choose what happens to joint content. This protects other members but does not prevent a privacy request.
Nesli may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated breach, a security threat, fraud, legal order or where continuation cannot reasonably be required. Where circumstances allow, we first warn you and provide a reasonable opportunity to remedy.
Provisions intended to survive, including intellectual property, payment, liability, governing law and shared content, remain effective.
For iOS, you and Nesli acknowledge that this agreement is between you and Nesli only, not Apple. Nesli is responsible for the app and its content. The licence is non-transferable and permits use on Apple-branded products you own or control under the Apple Media Services Usage Rules, including permitted Family Sharing where applicable.
Direct app questions and claims to Nesli using the contact details in section 1.
Google Play terms may also apply to Android. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app, support or user content. Google Play manages purchases, trials, renewal, cancellation and many refunds under the information displayed at checkout.
Dutch law governs these terms. Consumers retain mandatory protections of their country of habitual residence. Disputes go to a court with jurisdiction under applicable law; this does not remove a consumer's right to use another competent authority.
Email complaints to hallo@nesli.app with a clear description and relevant purchase information. We acknowledge receipt and aim to respond substantively within 14 days. Never send full card details.
We may update these terms for new features, safety, store policies or law. Minor or favourable changes may take effect immediately. We provide advance, durable and understandable notice of materially adverse changes and a free termination right where required.
If a provision is invalid, the rest remains effective. It is replaced only as far as needed by a valid provision closest to its purpose without reducing mandatory rights.
